Here are three observations:

1. Lighthouse Anesthesia is private physician group practice employing 102 full-time clinicians — 28 anesthesiologists and 74 anesthetists.

2. The practice provides services to St. Joseph’s/Candler, a 714-bed healthcare system in Savannah, Effingham Hospital and Care Center in Springfield, Ga., and 11 ambulatory surgery centers in Georgia and North Carolina.

3. The acquisition was a cash transaction, and it is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.
