MEDNAX acquires Lakeshore Anesthesia Services: 4 things to know

MEDNAX has acquired Lakeshore Anesthesia Services in Muskegon, Mich., according to a MiBiz report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Lakeshore Anesthesia Services includes 31 anesthesiologists and 10 anesthetists.

2. The practice provides services to Mercy Health Muskegon’s Hackley and Mercy campuses; North Ottawa Community Hospital in Grand Haven, Mich.; Muskegon Surgery Center; and Shoreline Vision Ambulatory Surgery Center in Muskegon.

3. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

4. MEDNAX has operations in 35 states and employs nearly 2,700 physicians. The company recently acquired Manassas (Va.) Anesthesia Associates.
