The society plans to award $750,000 in grants for the Frontiers in Anesthesia Research Award, which is intended to foster innovation and creativity by an individual researcher in the anesthesiology field. It will also grant $600,000 for its Mentored Research Awards, which are intended to support investigations that will further the understanding of clinical practice in anesthesiology and related sciences.
