Dr. Miguel is a past president of the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists. He focuses on pain medicine and has a practice affiliated with the University of South Florida with clinics in Tampa and Sarasota.
The 13-member advisory committee is charged with reviewing and evaluating data regarding the safety and effectiveness of drugs used in anesthesiology and surgery, and formulating recommendations to the FDA commissioner.
