The study compared the use of 4 mg to 5 mg and 8 mg to 10 mg intravenous doses. A total of 6,696 subjects were a part of 60 randomized clinical trials.
Results showed a similar effect with the 4 to 5 mg dose as the 8 to 10 mg dose, which supports using the lower dosage to get the same antiemetic properties.
