Erin Maddy, MD, joined Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minn.
Here's what you should know:
1. Dr. Maddy graduated from Minneapolis, Minn.-based University of Minnesota Medical School. She underwent residency training at Burlington-based University of Vermont and a fellowship at Stanford (Calif.) University Medical Center.
2. Duluth is her hometown, and she said she's excited to return.
3. She said she enjoys seeing a variety of patients and finds it rewarding to help patients who feel vulnerable or nervous.
