Duke University Will Change Nurse Anesthesia Program From Master’s to DNP

Duke University in Durham N.C., announced that it will change its Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesia program from a master’s degree to a doctor of nursing practice degree program, according to a Triangle Business Journal report.

The new program will be eight months longer than the original 24-month program. The Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs must approve the program before Duke University can offer classes.
