Drs. Lee Fleisher, Gerald Maccioli Appointed to AMA Advisory Committee

Lee Fleisher, MD, and Gerald Maccioli, MD, have been appointed to the American Medical Association-convened Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement Quality Improvement Advisory Committee, according to an American Society of Anesthesiologists news release.

The Quality Improvement Advisory Committee advises the AMA-PCPI’s executive committee on matters related to improving quality, safety and efficiency in healthcare.

Dr. Fleisher currently serves as the Robert Dunning Dripps Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He has been an active ASA member for 25 years.

Dr. Maccioli currently serves as chair of the Quality Assurance & Performance Measures Committee at American Anesthesiology of North Carolina. He has served on more than a dozen ASA committees.
