Dr. W. Stephen Minore wins Illinois Society of Anesthesiologists award: 4 things to know

The Illinois Society of Anesthesiologists named W. Stephen Minore, MD, winner of its Distinguished Service Award for 2016, according to a Rockford Registrar Star report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Minore is the president and CEO of Rockford Anesthesiologists Associated in Loves Park, Ill.

2. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and Illinois Society of Anesthesiologists.

3. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Clinics in Ann Arbor.

4. The Distinguished Service Award “recognizes anesthesia physicians and scientists who have made education and patient safety contributions to the Illinois Society of Anesthesiologists and to the field of anesthesiology in Illinois,” according to the report.
