Dr. Elizabeth Drum wins award for international medical charity work

Elizabeth Drum, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist, was named the third annual Physicians of the Year for international service by MedicalMissions.org.

Dr. Drum is Philadelphia-based anesthesiologist. She has participated in 23 medical mission trips in total, including trips to Ethiopia, Haiti, India, Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. She is a member of the Global Humanitarian Outreach committee of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and also works with Cure International.
