Osage Beach, Mo.-based Lake Regional Health System named Alan Mead, MD, to its board of directors, according to a Lake News Online report.

Here are four key notes:

1. Dr. Mead is director of anesthesiology at Lake Regional Hospital.

2. He serves as chair of the hospital’s Credentials and Anesthesia Peer Review Committees. He also serves on the Medical Executive Committee.

3. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Missouri Society of Anesthesiologists.

4. Dr. Mead completed his internal medicine residency and anesthesiology fellowship at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Mo.
