Three things to know:
1. Awarded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the PPP loan was meant to help Anesthesia Services save 155 jobs.
2. Anesthesia Services is the largest anesthesia group in Delaware, as well as Newark, Del.-based ChristianaCare’s sole services provider.
3. Eleven percent of the largest PPP loans in Delaware went to healthcare businesses. Newark-based First State Orthopedics and Wilmington-based Regional Orthopedic Associates also received millions of dollars in loans.
