CMS approves Interventional Pain Data Registry

CMS approved the National Interventional Pain Management — Qualified Clinical Data Registry for 2017, Pain Management News reports.

The registry helps pain physicians meet Merit-based Incentive Payment System criteria through the Quality Payment Program.

The registry captures and analyzes data for interventional pain physicians. The metrics will provide physicians with a way to better understand and adjust performance to improve outcomes and increase reimbursement.
