CMS confirms Anesthesia Business Consultants registry as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry: 4 insights

For the second year in a row, Anesthesia Business Consultants was approved as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry.

Here is what you need to know.

1. ABC is the developer of MiraMed QCDR, which utilizes the quality category of Merit-based Incentive Payment Systems, as well as support for Improved Activities and Advancing Care Information category reporting.

2. The approval indicates ABC's focus to support its clients in a more all-encompassing way.

3. Currently over 6,000 anesthesia clinicians already report their performance through the MiraMed QCDR program. The registry as data one more than 3 million patients

4. Chief Quality Officer at ABC Bryan Sullivan said, "The expansion of the MiraMed QCDR to support our clients who are adopting Medicare Access and Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2015 allows for practices to remain focused on patient care."
