1. Dr. Feldman, 56, recently lost the bid for the Libertarian Party’s 2016 presidential nomination.
2. Dr. Feldman was the Cole Eye Institute’s anesthesia section head and director of the institute’s operating rooms at the Cleveland Clinic.
3. A motel employee called the police when Dr. Feldman was found unresponsive in his room.
4. When first responders arrived on the scene, he was not breathing, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
5. The official cause of death has not yet been released.
