1. Dr. Yost is a member of Orange-based Allied Anesthesia.
2. He will serve the remainder of former chairman Mark Refowitz’s term.
3. Dr. Yost served on CalOptima’s board from 2001 to 2009, he stepped down and accepted a board appointment in August 2016. He is the former chief of staff and chair of anesthesiology at Orange-based Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
4. He said in a release the appointment was an incredible honor to him. “I look forward to what the future holds for the organization, and I feel fortunate to have the chance to contribute to its wonderful mission.”
