Edina, Minn.-based Nura Pain Clinics has promoted Erin Bettendorf, MD, to medical director of the Nura Surgical Center.
Dr. Bettendorf is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. She joined Nura Pain Clinics in 2022, according to a Jan. 21 news release from the organization.
In the role, Dr. Bettendorf will help deliver new solutions for patients with chronic pain.
David Schultz, MD, who founded Nura Pain Clinics in 1995, retired at the end of 2025, the release said.
