Anesthesiologist Dr. Christopher Robert found dead on roadside: 5 things to know

A man whose body was found along an Interstate road in Minneapolis has been identified as Christopher Robert, MD, according to a Star Tribune report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Dr. Robert, 50, was chief of anesthesiology at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

2. According to his wife, Dr. Robert was walking to home from a workplace Christmas party sometime before his body was found.

3. The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office stated that the cause and manner of death remain undetermined.

4. Dr. Robert was appointed chief of anesthesiology of HCMC in 2011.

5. He completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
