American Health Council elects Dr. Dorina Leibu to board of physicians — 4 insights

The American Health Council elected Melville, N.Y.-based North American Partners in Anesthesia attending anesthesiologist Dorina Leibu, MD, to its board of physicians.

1. Dr. Leibu brings 36 years of experience to the board.

2. She earned her medical degree from Iasi, Romania-based Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She completed a residency at Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph's Medical Center before her fellowship at New York City-based Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

3. Dr. Leibu currently provides care at several facilities throughout New Jersey.

4. She is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiology, New York Society of Anesthesiology and the Israeli Society of Anesthesiology.
