Dr. Andrew Sonderman joins Fairbanks Hospital: 4 key notes

Andrew Sonderman, MD, joined Indianapolis-based Fairbanks Hospital after spending 16 years at Northside Anesthesia Services, according to Inside Indiana Business

 

Here are four things to know:

1. Prior to joining Fairbanks, Dr. Sonderman spent four years working for a nonprofit drug and alcohol treatment center. In 2015, he was named the interim medical director.

2. While at Northside Anesthesia Services, Dr. Sonderman served as medical director for the Indiana Pharmacists Recovery Network. He also operated a private practice in outpatient addiction medicine powered by Clearvista Recovery Associates.

3. Dr. Sonderman has dedicated his career to pain management and drug addiction recovery. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He has presented at national conferences, including the Prescription Drug Abuse Symposium.

4. Dr. Sonderman earned his medical degree at Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine and achieved certification through the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
