Anesthesiologists seem to spend less time online than other specialties, according to Medscape's Anesthesiologist Lifestyle, Happiness & Burnout Report 2019.
Compared with 22 percent of physicians overall, 14 percent of anesthesiologists spent 11 hours or more per week online for work. Medscape surveyed 15,069 physicians across 29-plus specialties.
Hours per week anesthesiologists spend on the internet for professional use:
1. One to 10: 86 percent
2. 11 to 20: 11 percent
3. 21 to 30: 2 percent
4. 31 to 40: 1 percent
5. More than 40: 0 percent
