1. Mountain Home, Ark.-based Baxter Health added cardiac anesthesiologist Victoria Belopolsky, MD, to its medical staff.
2. John Zerwas, MD, received the 2024 Distinguished Service Award from the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
3. Baxter Health also added Joel McMasters, MD, to its medical staff as an anesthesiologist.
4. Sunny Eappen, MD, president and CEO of Vermont University Health Network in Burlington, stepped down from his current role Oct. 15.
5. The Washington State Medical Association inaugurated Bridget Bush, MD, as its president.
