The Academy of Integrative Pain Management decided to cease operations, citing financial problems and other factors.

Phoenix-based Anesthesia Resources joined Richardson, Texas-based National Partners in Healthcare.

Allied Pain & Spine Institute opened an office in Mountain View, Calif. The group has two other locations in San Jose, Calif., and one in Los Gatos, Calif.
