January

MEDNAX acquired MEMAC Associates in Warren, Mich.

U.S. Anesthesia Partners entered into new partnership with Anesthesia Consultants of Dallas.

Sheridan completed an affiliation agreement with Mountainside, N.J.-based Ambulatory Anesthesia Care.

North American Partners in Anesthesia acquired Somersworth, N.H.-based Atlantic Anesthesia.

MEDNAX acquired Memphis, Tenn.-based Metropolitan Anesthesia Alliance.

February

U.S. Anesthesia Partners entered into a partnership with Denver-based Greater Colorado Anesthesia.

March

MEDNAX acquired Mosaic Anesthesia & Perioperative Services based in New Bern, N.C.

U.S. Anesthesia Partners and Pinnacle Anesthesia Consultants of Dallas announced their new partnership with Excel Anesthesia.

CRH Medical announced two transactions to provide anesthesia services to four ambulatory surgery centers in Florida and North Carolina — the first one involves the acquisition of an anesthesia provider servicing three ASCs, and is effective immediately.
