Getinge, Philips form anesthesia tech partnership

Medical technology companies Getinge and Philips have formed a new commercial partnership with a focus on integrated anesthesia and monitoring solutions. 

According to an Oct. 2 news release, the partnership will marry Getinge’s Flow Family anesthesia delivery systems and Philips’ advanced IntelliVue patient monitoring technology. The partnership will support smooth data transfer between devices, supporting compatibility with hospital infrastructure and standardizing workflows. 

The partnership aims to simplify procurement and installation of each companies’ technology.
