Here are five new cardiology-focused facility, practice and clinic openings, as reported by Becker’s since Sept. 11:
- Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health opened its newly expanded St. Francis Heart Center in East Hills, N.Y.
- Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, opened a second cardiology location in Dover, N.H.
- Miami-based MyCardiologist debuted an immediate care clinic, MyCardiologistNow, in Kendall, Fla.
- Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio is planning a nine-bed heart unit as part of its expanded pediatric intensive care unit.
- Fairfield Healthcare Professionals Cardiology expanded by adding Steven Mould, MD, as well as opening a new office suite.
