Here are five new ASCs and outpatient centers that have opened or are being planned in the Northeast, as reported by Becker’s since Aug. 4:
- New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian opened NewYork-Presbyterian The One, an outpatient center in White Plains, N.Y.
- Two plastic surgeons, Oren Tepper, MD, and Evan Garfein, MD, opened Greenwich Street Surgical, a membership-based surgical facility in New York City.
- Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health opened an ambulatory and urgent care center in Melville, N.Y.
- Portland, Maine-based InterMed broke ground on an ASC and medical office building in Scarborough, Maine.
- White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital, part of the Montefiore Health System, opened a multispecialty outpatient center in Scarsdale, N.Y.
