InterMed breaks ground on 62K-square-foot ASC, MOB

Portland, Maine-based InterMed has broken ground on an ASC and medical office building in Scarborough, Maine, according to an Aug. 6 report from Mainebiz.

The 62,000-square-foot center will be InterMed’s fifth facility, with other locations in Portland, South Portland and Yarmouth, Maine. 

Urgent care, primary care, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, outpatient surgery, imaging and laboratory services are among the services that will be provided at the new facility. 

The new ASC and MOB is a joint project between InterMed and Remedy Medical Properties, a real estate development firm, the report said.
