Dr. Carter has been an anesthesiologist and professor for 26 years, most recently at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. He completed an anesthesiology residency at Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas, and earned his MD at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is a certified advanced cardiac life support provider and pediatric advanced life support provider, according to the release.
