Cleveland Clinic Family Health and Surgery Center Scheduled to Open Dec. 1, 2011

Cleveland Clinic’s $97.9 million Avon Family Health and Surgery Center is undergoing interior finishing work and is set to open Dec. 1, 2011, according to a World Interior Design Network report.

The project includes two major structures: a four-story, 120,000-square-foot Family Health Center and a two-story, 60,000-square-foot ASC, which is designed to house an outpatient surgery center, a free-standing ER and an imaging suite.

According to the report, the site will also feature a helicopter pad, a large physical therapy area with two pools for aquatic therapy and 150 exam rooms.
