EmCare Acquires Tampa Bay Anesthesia Providers

EmCare has acquired Tampa Bay-based anesthesia provider North Pinellas Anesthesia Associates and Northwood Anesthesia Associates, according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but Emergency Medical Services Corp., the parent company of EmCare, estimated the acquisition would contribute around $15 million to annual net revenue.

North Pinellas/Northwood staffs about 40 clinicians and provides outsourced anesthesia services to two Tampa Bay hospitals and seven area ASCs.
