Cleveland Clinic adds robotic colorectal surgeon to Florida hospital

Cleveland Clinic Weston (Fla.) Hospital added robotic colorectal surgeon Sam Agarwal, MD, to its CRC surgery team, South Florida Hospital News reported Dec. 7.

Dr. Agarwal joins Cleveland Clinic after a tenure at Morgantown-based West Virginia University, where he was chief of colon and rectal surgery and chief of robotic surgery.

He also helped develop the robotic CRC surgery program at Washington, D.C.-based George Washington University, where he also worked.
