The clinical trial is testing Avesha’s technology that assists the gastroenterologist in detecting polyps in real time. The system has been trained to search for polyps and has been used in more than 200 procedures at the center.

“We are excited to be involved in bringing cutting-edge technologies like AI in our standard of care to our patients,” said Eric Albrecht, divisional vice president of Amsurg, a partner in the endoscopy center.
