1. Novant is seeking city approval to rezone a 23.6-acre lot to allow for the development of a hospital or medical office building.

2. A building on the lot could be up to 144,000 square feet and four stories tall.

3. The building could include medical offices, clinical space, surgery centers and emergency rooms, among other medical options.
