CRH Medical acquires North Carolina gastroenterology anesthesia practice — 3 insights

CRH Medical acquired a majority ownership stake in Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Triad Sedation, building on a previous partnership with the practice.

What you should know:

1. CRH developed a monitored anesthesia care program at the practice in October 2018, which granted the company an option to acquire 51 percent ownership in the practice at a later date. This is the second practice CRH acquired through its MAC program.

2. Triad Sedation provides anesthesia services to five GI ASCs in North Carolina. It is CRH’s second acquisition in the state.

3. Triad Sedation has an estimated annual revenue of $4.1 million and is EBITDA and cash flow accretive.
