Previously, Dr. Mailk was the medical director of the hepatology and hepatobiliary program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he developed l programs to treat liver cancer and liver failure.
Dr. Malik earned his medical degree from King’s College London and his PhD in cell biology and hepatology at University College London, both in England.
