Somersworth, N.H.-based Atlantic Digestive Specialists provided notice of a data security incident that may have impacted protected health information.
In March 2026, the practice was alerted to suspicious activity on its network and launched an investigation. The review determined that information may have been viewed or acquired without authorization between March 16 and March 17, 2026, according to a Sept. 30 notice from Atlantic Digestive Specialists.
The breach may have exposed patient names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or state identification numbers, dates of birth, financial account information and medical history.
Atlantic Digestive Specialists has locations in Portsmouth and Somersworth, N.H., according to its website.
