The Roseville, Calif.-based ASC is the third center in the country to receive the distinction.
To gain the designation, applicants are evaluated on their use of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, performance improvement strategies, organizational infrastructure, leadership effectiveness and orthopedic care integration.
