HCA Healthcare surgery center marks 50th robotic case — 3 quick notes

DeAnza Outpatient Surgery completed its 50th advanced robotic case on Oct. 21, according to Cherie Crutcher, a marketing and communications executive at Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital.

Three quick notes:

1. The first advanced robotic case at the Riverside-based freestanding ASC took place on July 18. Staff celebrated the recent 50-case milestone with cupcakes.

2. DeAnza Outpatient Surgery was established in 2016 as an extension of Riverside Community Hospital’s perioperative services. 

3. Riverside Community Hospital is part of the Far West Division of HCA Healthcare, a healthcare facility operator based in Nashville, Tenn.
