Vanderbilt acquires 2-campus facility, outpatient services & physician clinics

Vanderbilt University Medical Center acquired Tennova Healthcare-Lebanon’s two-campus facility, physician clinic operations and outpatient services on Aug. 1, according to The Chronicle Of Mt. Juliet.

Nashville, Tenn.-based VUMC acquired the facilities and services from subsidiaries of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems after months of preparation. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

The transaction brings Tennova’s Lebanon, Tenn.-based physician clinics and outpatient services under the Vanderbilt umbrella: Vanderbilt Surgery Center, Vanderbilt Sleep Disorders Center, Vanderbilt Primary Care, Vanderbilt Primary Care Walk-In and Vanderbilt Gastroenterology.
