HCA Healthcare veteran to take helm of North Carolina hospital

Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Hospital tapped HCA Healthcare Orange Park (Fla.) Medical Center CEO Chad Patrick to serve as its new leader, effective mid-July, the Asheville Citizen Times reports.

Mr. Patrick comes to Mission Hospital after leading Orange Park Medical Center for six years. HCA North Carolina President Greg Lowe spoke highly of Mr. Patrick, saying, “Excellent people make excellence happen.”

Mr. Patrick succeeds former CEO and president Ron Paulus, MD. Dr. Paulus left Mission to serve as a strategic adviser for HCA.
