What you should know:
1. Nvision first used HSTpathways at its Laguna HIlls, Calif.-based Pacific HIlls Surgery Center. Then later expanded to two other ASCs.
2. Nvision’s Vice President of ASC Operations Stacy Gober, RN, said the practice plans to roll out HSTpathways to all its ASCs by 2020.
3. Ms. Gober identified six areas where HSTpathways improved operational performance:
- Scheduling
- Tracking credentials
- Inventory management
- Implant log
- Physician preference cards
- Reporting
4. “Now that we have been using it for a while, everyone … understands the value,” Ms. Gober said.
5. HSTpathways is a scalable solution, so as Nvision adds more centers it can roll out the software into the centers.
