Here’s what you should know:
1. RMG plans to partner with an orthopedic physician group and Quincy, Mass.-based Shields Health Care Group on the project.
2. RMG applied for a determination of need to build an ASC with three operating rooms, which would involve renovating 13,000 square feet of space.
3. The ASC’s first-year operating expenses would cost an estimated $4.3 million.
4. The ASC would offer orthopedic, otolaryngology, general vascular, hand, gynecology and urology services.
