What you should know:
1. Dr. Whitman joined Operation Sight in 2015, which was the first in the state, at that time.
2. After expanding Key-Whitman Eye Center to nine locations, Dr. Whitman wanted to give back to the community.
3. He said as soon as he told his staff about Operation Sight, they bought into it. “Everyone they touch in the office has a higher degree of fulfilment,” he said. “It makes for a better place to work.”
4. Dr. Whitman performs five Operation Sight surgeries annually. He is hoping to recruit other surgeons to join the movement.
