Cedars-Sinai expands GI practices into primary care clinic — 3 insights

Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is expanding an established gastroenterology practice in Santa Monica, Calif. by adding other specialties, the Los Angeles Business Journal reports.

What you should know:

1. The 36,000-square-foot practice is located a four-story building. The practice has four primary care physicians, an onsite laboratory and imaging services.

2. Cedars-Sinai is relocating the Angeles Clinic and Research Institute into the practice. Once the move is complete physicians will offer hematology and oncology, gastroenterology, neurology, cardiology and ENT services.

3. Cedars-Sinai Medical Network Executive Vice President John Jenrette, MD, said, “These enhanced offices are part of our ongoing efforts to meet the growing demand for outstanding comprehensive healthcare close to where patients live and work.”
