FBI searches 2 eye centers: 4 key notes

Warwick, R.I.-based Koch Eye Associates and Dartmouth, Mass.-based Eye Health Vision Centers received a visit from FBI agents, according to a Providence Journal report.

Four things to know:

1. Agents removed boxes and searched the premises of Koch Eye Associates, according to the report. The practice was opened again for regular business the next day.

2. The FBI is reportedly “working with another agency, conducting court-authorized activity,” an FBI spokeswoman told the Providence Journal.

3. Both eye centers are part of Claris Vision.

4. The FBI escorted patients out of the premises at Eye Health Vision Centers and denied entry when patients arrived for appointments, according to a Seacoast Today report.
