1. Christ Hospital’s sought a CON to build a $23 million ASC in Fort Mitchell. The proposal was denied by a Kentucky judge after Fort Mitchell-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare issued a challenge.
2. Christ filed an appeal. The Fort Mitchell Common Council will meet Jan. 28 to consider the project.
3. If approved, the ASC will anchor the Fort Mitchell Gateway Project, which could include a hotel, restaurants, retail businesses and apartments. The city is interested in pursuing the development with or without the ASC.
