1. Dr. Decker earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Biddeford, Maine-based University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency at St. Petersburg (Fla.) Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. and a fellowship at Warwick, R.I.-based Kent Hospital.
2. She grew up in Rhode Island and said coming back to the state was a goal of hers..
3. Dr. Decker will begin seeing patients Jan. 7, 2019.
