Here’s what you should know:
1. The neurosurgery practice will build an ASC behind the main facility in a second phase of construction.
2. The development is meant to accommodate the practice’s rapid growth in the past five years. UBNS has grown from about 80 employees and 10 physicians to 200 employees and almost 20 physicians.
3. UBNS will offer comprehensive neurosurgical services, chiropractic care and interventional pain management at the new campus.
4. UBNS partnered with Buffalo-based Dent Neurologic Institute, Buffalo Rehab Group and Kenmore, N.Y.-based Bennett Rehabilitation to provide onsite imaging, neurology and physical therapy.
