3 steps for ASC leaders seeking outside business consultation

 
Robert Carrera, the president and CEO of Lakewood, Colo.-based Pinnacle III, listed the steps he takes when seeking outside consultation when developing ASCs on the company’s blog.

Here are the insights Mr. Carrera shared:

1. Initial determination. First, determine strategic initiatives such as organizational goals to set what the ASC would need outside help to accomplish.

2. Strategic consulting firm. Next, solicit recommendations for strategic consulting firms from respected sources in the local business community.

3. Firm interviews. Lastly, interview each strategic firm to determine if it’s a good fit for the center.
